In at least three short interviews of 3 minutes maximum, you will meet potential employees. It gives you the opportunity to meet with relatively al lot of employees in a short period of time. During this conversations you will find out in if there is a match between you and the employees. Their résumé is not known in advance. To make a great first impression is very important! It isalway possible to learn skills, but people do fit or do not fit your company, there is little about it.
What is speed dating?
The selection interviews with prospective employees take place simultaneously at one location, namely in the MOCE Cube during the Maritime & Offshore Career Event. In the cube are a few tables where you sit behind and take the interview.
The procedure
When you've decided to take part in the speed date sessions with potential employees, you will receive a questionnaire. Please fill in this questionnaire per vacancy and send it back to the organization, together with the relevant vacancy. Your vacancy will be viewed by experienced HR professionals and will be subsequent matched with the registered candidates. Our HR professionals make the best possible match between the candidates and your vacancies by using open questions.
The interview
The interviews are generally individual interviews of 3 minutes. After 3 minutes the bell rings and the candidate can pass on to the next table. Per round you speak with at least 3 candidates. When there is a great interest in the speed dates, it is also possible that there are 5 short interviews. The duration of a session will automatically be longer then. At the end of the interview you change you business card for a résumé and you will contact the candidates to invite them whether or not for a follow-up.
If there's a real match, there is the possibility to have the follow-up at the same day, during the exhibition itself!
